MCR Steel Buildings

Metal Construction Resource

MCR Steel Buildings is located in Denver, Colorado and is a proud Builder for CECO Building Systems. In 2009, MCR Steel Buildings ranked FIRST among all CECO Builders in the Express Building Category and in 2010 currently sits in first place as the largest Builder for CECO nationwide. We provide buildings to all 50 states, have fulfilled contracts for international clients and are also involved at the principal level in Habitat for Haiti Redevelopment.

The owners of MCR Steel Buildings have dedicated their professional lives to the metal construction industry, starting out in the 1980’s working for several building manufacturers and subsequently developing, as managing partners, an engineering and drafting company servicing metal building companies. From there they developed a proprietary engineering and drafting software which became the number one privately developed metal building software in the 1990’s. After selling the software company they started a metal building manufacturing company which became one of the fastest growing metal building companies in the 1990’s and an insulation company servicing the Rocky Mountain Region.

MCR Steel Buildings attained another first in 2010 when they built the very first, in history, FEMA Category 5 Building, capable of withstanding 250 MPH wind speeds, in Mobile, AL.

MCR Steel Buildings is a sister company of Metal Construction Resource, a national top 20 furnish and install subcontractor dedicated to Department of Defense and US Army Corps of Engineers projects. MCR’s Water Division specializes in water treatment facilities.

The combined staff of MCR Steel Buildings has over 150 years of industry experience. Our people are the very best in the industry! We love to compete and earn your business. We look forward to working with you!

MCR Steel Buildings primarily serves the intermediate to complex design and construction projects that are outside of the typical box building market. For simple building implementations we recommend FSO (Factory Steel Overstock) specializing in low-complexity steel buildings.
